Open Access Statement

Open Access is a publication model where neither readers nor a reader's institution are charged for access to articles or other resources. Articles in Infections in Children Journal are published under CC-BY-SA-NC copyright license. Papers published under this copyright license allow users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, distribute, republish or otherwise reuse provided the reuse is not an adaptation or derivative, the integrity of the original work is maintained, and the authors of the original work are appropriately cited. Papers published under this copyright license cannot be used for commercial purposes. Commercial use means use of the content by a commercial organisation or individual for direct (including through sale, loan or license) or indirect (including through marketing campaigns, promotional materials or presentations) commercial gain or remuneration.

Advantages of open access publishing:
  1. Increases the reach of the authors’ research to a wider audience. As a researcher, publishing in an open access journal allows those interested in your field and work to read it, which translates into increased usage, citation rates, and impact.
  2. Enhanced Collaboration. Open access publishing fosters collaboration by enabling researchers worldwide to build upon each other's work and share resources.
  3. Benefit to the Public. Open access can lead to more rapid dissemination of research findings, which can then be used to inform policies, treatments, and other decisions that benefit the public.

Please note that Infections in Children Journal and Pediatric Oncall may make additional non-open access content freely viewable on either platform, and the reuse of such material may require prior permission.
